You are Poudre Football
We want to start out by saying thank you to all of our Poudre Football Alumni, from our very first year in 1963, to our most recent alumni, the seniors who will be graduating this year. This includes those who wore the blue and silver, our past coaches and team staff, the teachers and administration, and other school employees who supported us, as well as the families of our former players who never miss a chance to cheer on the Impalas.
You all are the reason that Poudre Football has the rich tradition that we are so proud of today. Your commitment to hard work, integrity, toughness and being well rounded student athletes is something that we work to install in our athletes of today.
We would like to continue to work at engaging with our past alumni to a greater degree, and want you to know how you can stay connected with us:
1) We are on many types of social media, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We encourage you to follow along for updates. Also check back on our website for new information and updates. In the digital era we want to be able to connect with you and look forward to continuing to share the rich tradition of Poudre Football with Impalas of the past, present and future.
2) Our 11th Annual Poudre Football Golf tournament fundraiser takes place during spirit week each summer. We would love to have you come out and play and bring some other former alumni or guests with you. See the Golf Tournament tab for more information. Even if you are not a golfer you are welcome to come and enjoy the day with us.
3) In 2018 we have launched the Poudre Football Alumni Association. This will be an annual membership style club, and we will provide some unique opportunities to engage with Poudre Football coaches, players and on game days over the year. We have heard from many alumni from all over the country and we want to provide an opportunity for all of our Poudre Football family to be part of our program, and to also have a chance to make a annual financial commitment to make us even stronger. Please see the Poudre Football Alumni Association tab for more information.
4) You are always welcome to stop by a practice, and we love to have as many alumni as possible attend our games. We would love to fill French Field for every home game and appreciate all of you who make an effort to come out to support us. We are currently exploring a how to begin a game day tradition to honor past alumni and we are welcome to suggestions. Our game and practice schedule is listed on our website.
5) Lastly we have many different areas where you can get involved if you are interested in devoting your time to being part of some of our different committees. From all of the events and team support that the Touchdown Club does throughout the year, to different needs that may arise with our coaches and current team. If you have a talent that you are willing to share, we will have a place for you. This could include help with fundraising, video and other technology, facilities and equipment, etc.
Some of our Poudre Football Alumni Today
We want to share the great successes that our past alumni are experiencing today and would love to have you share those with us to include on this sight. We have discussed possibly creating a social media sight for Poudre Football alumni for those interested. We can also include you on our alumni email list that we utilize periodically to distribute important information and invite you to events. Please contact us through the front page of this sight if you are interested.
